- Identification with a team of people, all trying to accomplish a set of goals
- Independent: “What can I do for myself?”
- Empowered: “What can I do?”
- In Control: “I determine my future”
- Change can be opportunity
- Asks “Why not?”
- Makes decision and takes action based on facts known at present moment
- Thinks of him/herself as “employable”
